Half Day Inshore Fishing Trip
Morning trips fishing around the outskirts of the Bay targeting Blue Cod, Gurnard, Kahawai, Tarakihi and Perch. Fish are filleted where possible excluding blue cod.
Snapper is available from November to March. We provide all the fishing gear and bait required along with tea & coffee.
Available year round, suitable for the novice or experienced angler.

Leaving port early morning travelling across the bay to our spot at the north-western outskirts of Golden Bay on the Tasman sea.
Targeting Blue Cod, Snapper, Tarakihi & Kingfish. A shorter trip for those short of time but wanting to try for something in the deep blue.
Up to six, not suitable for children under 13 years.

Albacore Tuna Trips
Travel to the outer bay area and target Albacore Tuna, an exciting game fish on light tackle. It can be a great challenge for the novice or experienced angler out on the Tasman sea.
An excellent fish for smoking or just as it comes with some ginger & soy sauce.
Tea, coffee & light lunch supplied.
Available when in season: February - March, minimum 6 anglers, maximum 6.

West Coast Fishing Trip
West Coast fishing targeting Groper, Trumpeter, Kingfish, Blue Cod, Snapper, Tarakihi. Up to six anglers, all fishing gear, bait and light lunch supplied. Leaving from Port Tarakohe early morning & returning early evening.
Available year round, subject to sea/weather conditions for up to 6 people. Not suitable for children under 13 years.

You should arrive 15 minutes before your trip departure time. Please park in the public car park at Port Tarakohe, our boat is moored at Slip no.4.
A great morning, cod, terakihi, gurnard & a 1 hour battle with a 20+ lb shark - the shark won - the line broke. We will be back for another battle next year! Thanks Leigh.
